NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police are investigating after an 18-year-old man was shot in his buttocks in Downtown Brooklyn on Wednesday evening.
It happened just before 6 p.m. on Cadman Plaza East and Prospect Street near the Brooklyn Bridge.
A suspect in all black had a gun in their hand and fired three shots. There was no argument or dispute before or after the shooting, according to officials.

The suspect ran in an unknown direction.
The victim was taken to NYC Health + Hospitals/Bellevue where he's expected to survive.
There have been no arrests made and the investigation is ongoing.
