NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A 24-year-old man died after he jumped from the top floor of a 32-story building near Penn Station and landed at a construction site on Tuesday afternoon, authorities said.
The man, whose name has not been released, fell from the top floor of 2 Penn Plaza, on Seventh Avenue, located between 31st and 33rd streets in Midtown at approximately 1 p.m., the NYPD said.
Police sources told the New York Post that the man, who was wearing earbuds, randomly walked into the 32-story building. Police later found his wallet on the top floor.
There were no other details immediately released and an investigation is ongoing.
