Man, 25, repeatedly stabbed, critically wounded on Bronx subway train

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police released a photo of a man accused of stabbing and critically wounding another man aboard a Bronx subway train on Sunday.

It happened at about 11 a.m. while aboard a northbound 5 train approaching the E. 149th St.-Grand Concourse stop in Mott Haven, authorities said.

According to officials, a 25-year-old man was stabbed multiple times by the suspect who fled location to parts unknown.

EMS transported the victim to NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln in critical but stable condition.

It is unclear what led to the stabbing or if the two men know each other.
