NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – A man was gunned down on an East Harlem street early Thursday morning, police said.
The 33-year-old victim, who has not been identified, was shot near East 121st Street and Third Avenue around 2:30 a.m.
Responding officers found the man about a block away outside a building on Second Avenue, across the street from Wagner Playground.
The victim had been shot in the chest, police said.
EMS rushed him to Harlem Hospital, but he did not survive.
An investigation into the shooting is ongoing.
No arrests have been reported.
