NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A 41-year-old man was fatally stabbed at a Queens deli Saturday morning, according to police.
The victim was stabbed in the leg in 7 Star Jamaica Deli Corp. on Jamaica Avenue near Vanderveer Street in Queens Village around 5:24 a.m., according to officials.
EMS rushed the victim to NewYork-Presbyterian Queens Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Authorities are withholding the man’s identity pending notification of his family.
Police took a 68-year-old man into custody, but have not yet filed charges against him.
An investigation into the attack is ongoing.
