NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A 51-year-old mechanic was killed in a shooting outside a Brooklyn auto shop on Saturday, police and residents said.
The man was shot in the head after an argument at the AutoZone on Utica Avenue, near Rutland Road, in East Flatbush, according to police.
During the argument, the suspect threatened to shoot the victim, police said. He then left the store and came back around 10 a.m., when he exited a white car and opened fire.

The victim, who has not been identified, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police said it's unclear what sparked the dispute between the shooter and the victim, who residents said was a street mechanic who is well known in the neighborhood.
No arrests have been made and an investigation is ongoing, police said.
