NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – A 59-year-old man was shot and injured as he waited at a bus stop in Brooklyn last week, police said Saturday as they released surveillance footage of the suspected shooter.
The victim was at a bus stop near Kingston Avenue and Saint Johns Place in Crown Heights last Friday night when he was approached by a man, according to police.
The man pulled out a gun and fired multiple shots at the victim before fleeing the scene on foot, police said.
The victim was struck once in the abdomen. He was taken to Kings County Hospital, where he has since been treated and released.
Police haven't said if they believe the victim was the target of the shooting.
