NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A man died Friday after being shocked by the third rail at a Harlem subway station, police said.
According to cops, a 73-year-old man dropped papers on the tracks at the 125th Street subway station's B and D lines just before 1:30 p.m.
The man went to retrieve them but was shocked by the third rail. He was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
Police said no criminality is expected in the incident.
The victim was not immediately identified.
