NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police on Monday released surveillance footage of a man accused of knocking a 74-year-old man to the ground during a violent attack in Brooklyn earlier this month.

At approximately 10:20 a.m., on Friday, Jan. 3, the suspect approached a 74-year-old man walking in front of 577 Court St. in Red Hook and punched him in the back of the head, knocking him to the ground, officials said.


The suspect then fled on foot in an unknown direction.

The victim sustained injuries to the head, back, and hand. EMS transported him to New York-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital in stable condition.
