NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A 79-year-old man was pinned against a wall and robbed of his Rolex in Queens, police said Friday as they hunt for two men.
According to police, the suspects approached the victim as he was walking near 40–52 75th Street in Elmhurst around 7:10 p.m. on May 4.
The victim's $5,000 Rolex watch was then forcibly removed by the two, who also attempted to remove the victim's bracelet but were unsuccessful.
Cops said the men fled the location on a scooter, heading northbound on 75th Street toward Broadway.
The victim sustained minor injuries to his wrists but did not require medical attention.
