NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police released a photo on Sunday of a man accused of punching an 83-year-old man after a verbal dispute on the subway in Lower Manhattan.
It happened at approximately 6:10 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 20, when the victim was aboard a southbound 5 train approaching the Fulton Street subway station, authorities said.
According to officials, the suspect repeatedly punched the victim in the face with a closed fist before exiting the train and fleeing on foot to parts unknown.
The victim sustained cut to his face and head. He traveled by private means to NYC Health + Hospitals/Kings County for treatment.
