NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A 90-year-old man was robbed of his cash and cell phone by armed door knockers at his Harlem home Saturday morning, police said.
Two thieves knocked on the victim's door near West 145th Street and Edgecombe avenue around 8:10 a.m., police said.
When the man opened his door, one of the suspects displayed a firearm and demanded the victim's money and phone as a second suspect stood by as a lookout, police said.
The elderly man handed over $270 and his cell phone before the two men fled on foot.
No injuries were reported, police said.
