NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police arrested a man who allegedly slashed a bouncer in front of Stonewall Inn after he was kicked out early Monday, authorities said.
Christopher Lawrence, 30, was removed from the bar located in Greenwich Village by a bouncer just before 4 a.m., after he got into an argument with a DJ, officials said.
Lawrence was attempting to re-enter the establishment when he displayed a knife and slashed the 35-year-old bouncer in the face, according to the NYPD.
He then tried to flee the scene but police managed to track Lawrence down about a block away where he was arrested.
The bouncer was transported to an area hospital.
Lawrence was charged with once count of assault.
