
NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) — Police released a photo on Tuesday of a man accused of beating another man for stepping on his foot while aboard a Manhattan MTA bus last month.
It happened at approximately 9:20 a.m. on Monday, May 6, 2024, in the vicinity of Broadway and East 23rd Street in the Flatiron District.
A 57-year-old man got into a verbal dispute with the suspect on the M23 Bus, cops said.
According to officials, the victim stepped on the foot of the suspect, who then struck him multiple times with a closed fist.
The victim suffered minor injuries to his face but refused medical attention.
The suspect fled westbound on East 23rd Street to parts unknown.
