NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police arrested a man Thursday accused of fatally shooting a 69-year-old grandmother in Brooklyn on Thanksgiving, authorities said.
Danny Daniel, 61, was charged with murder and two counts of criminal possession of a weapon.
Just before 11 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 23, police responded to a 911 call of a person shot in front of 340 Bainbridge St. in Bedford-Stuyvesant .
Upon arrival, officers observed Angelina Renita Parker with a gunshot wound to the neck.
EMS rushed Parker to Brookdale Hospital Medical Center where she was pronounced dead.
Daniel had an on-again, off-again dating relationship with the victim, officials said.
He was taken into custody at a bus stop in Greenville, South Carolina, three days after the murder and was extradited to Brooklyn Thursday.
