NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) – A woman was found fatally shot in the neck outside of her apartment in Brooklyn late Thursday night, police said.
Police arrived at the scene after receiving a 911 call at around 11 a.m.
They found the victim, Angelina Renita Parker, 69, with a severe gunshot wound in her neck outside of her apartment building at 340 Bainbridge St., Bedford-Stuyvesant.
Residents of the area found a blood trail leading to the side of the building, where Parker was found lying on the ground, according to police reports.
EMS quickly transported her to Brookdale Hospital Medical Center, where she was pronounced deceased.
There have been no arrests, and the investigation is ongoing.
Parker was a resident of the building where she was discovered.
