NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police are searching for a man who allegedly broke into an 8-year-old girl's bedroom in the Bronx this week and exposed himself to her.
The child was sleeping at her residence at De Reimer Avenue and Bussing Avenue in Wakefield on Monday morning when the man entered her bedroom through the window, police said.
She awoke to find him exposing himself and performing a lewd act, according to cops.

He fled the bedroom and was last seen headed eastbound on Bussing Avenue, police said.
The girl was not physically hurt during the encounter, according to police.
