NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police on Thursday identified the man who was fatally struck by two vehicles while walking in traffic on Manhattan’s FDR Drive, just south of the United Nations building.
Kadeem Lee, 31, was pronounced dead at the scene by EMS following the collision around 5:30 a.m. Wednesday in the northbound lanes of the FDR Drive, near East 38th Street in Murray Hill.
It’s unclear why Lee, of Midtown, was walking in traffic on the busy parkway as the morning rush was getting started.
As he was in the roadway, he was struck by the driver’s side mirror of a 2015 Honda Civic driven in the center lane by a 35-year-old man.

Lee remained standing after being struck by the side mirror, but moments later he was run over by a 2019 BMW X5 driven by a 56-year-old man, police said.
The impact forced Lee to the roadway, where he was found unconscious and unresponsive by NYPD officers responding to a 911 call.
The two drivers remained at the scene and were uninjured.
No arrests have been reported as the NYPD continues to investigate the crash, which caused a major backup on the FDR Drive Wednesday morning.
