NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — The NYPD launched an investigation after
a man was found fatally shot in the chest inside a Brooklyn apartment on Sunday.
At approximately 5:20 p.m., police responded to a 911 call of a male shot inside of 723 Halsey Street in Bedford Stuyvesant.
Upon arrival, officers observed an unconscious and unresponsive 60-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the chest.
EMS transported the victim to Interfaith Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
No arrests have been made and the investigation remains ongoing.
