NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – Police are searching for a man who they say harassed and called a woman anti-Asian slurs aboard a subway train in Manhattan on Thursday morning.
The 34-year-old woman was seated on a Q train at the 96th Street Station on the Upper East Side around 11:30 a.m. when the man came up and aggressively pointed his finger in her face, police said.
The man also called the woman anti-Asian slurs before fleeing the train, according to police.
The woman was not injured.
The NYPD released images of the suspect on Friday. The department's Hate Crime Task Force is investigating.
