NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – A man was shot and wounded as he sat in a wheelchair on a Brooklyn street on Saturday night, police said.
The 32-year-old victim was outside on Sterling Place, near Buffalo Avenue, in Crown Heights at 10 p.m. when shots were fired, according to police.

A stray bullet hit the man in the cheek, police said. He was taken to Kings County Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

No arrests have been reported.
The shooting came a day after a bystander was shot in the arm as he sat on a stoop in lower Manhattan on Friday evening, only a block away from the NYPD's headquarters.
