NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police said they're searching for a man behind a sex attack on a 12-year-old girl in a Bronx alley this week.
The girl was targeted by the man as she was standing near Tiffany Street and Hamilton Place in the Foxhurst section around 3 p.m. Sunday, police said.
The man snatched her cellphone and then lured her into an alley on Tiffany Street, where he forced her to perform a sex act, according to police.
A witness intervened and the suspect took off on foot, police said.
The witness helped the girl, who was taken to Lincoln Hospital in stable condition. Police said she wasn't physically injured.
The NYPD released images of the suspect on Friday.
