NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – A man on a dirt bike struck a 5-year-old boy at a park near Yankee Stadium before fleeing, police said.
The NYPD released video of a suspect Thursday, about two weeks after the May 16 incident at Macombs Dam Park in the Bronx.
Police said the man was riding the red and white dirt bike "at a high rate of speed" inside the track and field area at 3:30 p.m. when he struck the boy, who was with his 29-year-old mom and 2-year-old brother.

An argument erupted between bystanders and the man, who ultimately fled the park on foot, police said.
The boy was taken in stable condition to New York-Presbyterian Hospital, where he was treated for bleeding to his nose and mouth, according to police.
The dirt bike was recovered by another man, who claimed ownership, police said.
Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
Late last month, the NYPD announced that it was offering cash for tips as it cracks down on illegal ATVs and dirt bikes across the city.
