NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) – Police are searching for two men suspected of pushing a man and stealing his phone on a Bronx 6 train earlier this week.

At approximately 11:45 a.m. on Tuesday, April 16, a 51-year-old man was aboard a southbound 6 train approaching the Buhre Avenue subway station in Pelham Bay when he was approached by the two suspects.


One suspect snatched his phone while the other pushed him, causing him to fall onto the train seat.

The suspects fled the subway station and fled northbound on Buhre Avenue on foot.

The first suspect was last seen wearing a black jacket, black hooded sweatshirt, black jeans, and black sneakers.

The second suspect was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black and white sneakers, and black sweatpants.
