NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) – Police on Thursday released a photo of a man sought in a robbery that on a Manhattan street last week, authorities said.
At approximately 2 a.m. on Tuesday, March 5, a 44-year-old man was in the vicinity of 12th Avenue and West 24th Street in Chelsea when the suspect approached him.
The suspect then pushed the victim to the floor and stole his backpack containing a phone and wallet, which included personal bank cards.
He then fled the location on foot to parts unknown and used the victim's bank cards to make unauthorized purchases, officials said.
