Man pushes woman, 85, to the ground, steals purse from her walker

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — An 85-year-old woman was pushed to the ground in a parking lot robbery in Queens on Friday night, authorities said.

The victim was inside of the residential lot at 74-10 35 Avenue in Flushing around 7 p.m. when the attacker pushed the woman to the ground, police said.

After assaulting the woman, the thief stole her purse from her walker and fled the scene to a nearby train station, according to officials.

Emergency responders treated the victim at the scene for minor injuries to the right side of her body. Inside of her purse was her credit cards and ID.

The man cops are looking for is about 5’8”, 200 pounds with a dark complexion, heavy build and mustache. He was last seen wearing a black baseball hat with the White Sox logo on the front, a light colored face mask, a black winter jacket with yellow trim, black pants and black shoes.
