Man robbed at knifepoint in the Flatiron District

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police on Wednesday released surveillance footage of a pair of suspects sought in a knifepoint robbery that occurred in the Flatiron District last week.

At approximately 4:25 a.m. on Friday, January 26, a 61-year-old man was walking in front of 5 East 19th St. when he was approached by the two suspects.

According to officials, the suspects displayed a knife and took approximately $60 from the victim before fleeing into the subway at Union Square.

There were no injuries reported.
