NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police on Thursday released a photo of a man accused of simulating a gun in order to snatch a teen boy's chain on Staten Island last month.
Just before 4 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 16, a 16-year-old boy was in the vicinity of 166 Broadway in Edwin Markham Gardens when he was approached by the suspect.
According to officials, the suspect simulated a firearm and demanded the victim's necklace, valued at approximately $360.
The suspect then fled with the necklace, traveling eastbound on foot on Wayne Street, authorities said.
He was last seen wearing all black clothing.
