NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The NYPD launched an investigation after a man sitting in his car was fatally shot and another wounded early Monday in Upper Manhattan.
At approximately 4:48 a.m., on Monday, June 21, police responded to a 911 call of a man shot in front of 176 Dyckman Street in the Hudson Heights neighborhood.
Upon arrival, officers observed a 34-year-old man, unconscious and unresponsive in the driver's seat of a black 2018 BMW 750 sedan, with a gunshot wound to the head.
EMS responded to the location and pronounced the victim deceased at the scene.
A 33-year-old man was also shot in the groin while inside the vehicle as well, police said.
EMS transported the second victim to NYC Health & Hospitals/Harlem, in stable condition.
There are no arrests and the investigation remains ongoing.
