
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police are searching for a suspect after a man was slashed across the face while walking in Lower Manhattan this month.
The NYPD released surveillance video Tuesday showing the suspect hopping a subway turnstile.
The 38-year-old victim was walking at Greenwich and Vandam streets in Hudson Square around 1:40 a.m. on Jan. 1 when he was attacked.
Someone came up and slashed him across the face, above his left eye, with a cutting instrument, police said.
The victim was transported in stable condition to NYC Health + Hospitals/Bellevue.
The suspect fled on foot.
