NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) —The NYPD's Hate Crime Task Force is investigating after a man allegedly smashed a sign in front of Brooklyn mosque last week.
At approximately 1:28 a.m. on Wednesday, May 29, the suspect threw an unknown object through a sign in front of a mosque located at 202 Pennsylvania Ave. in East New York causing damage.
The suspect was last seen fleeing southbound on Pennsylvania Avenue on foot.
No injuries were reported during this incident.
The suspect was last seen wearing a black hat, black t-shirt, black pants, and white and gray sneakers.
