
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — The NYPD is looking for a suspect who stabbed a man in Midtown last month during a dispute, police said Wednesday.
The incident happened on Nov. 5 around 5 p.m. when the 28-year-old victim was on the corner of Lexington Avenue and East 51st Street, authorities said.
A man approached the victim and began a verbal dispute with him before stabbing him once in the chest with an object, according to officials.
The man fled the scene while emergency responders transported the victim to New York-Presbyterian Hospital-Cornell in stable condition.
Cops said the man they are looking for has a medium complexion with a thin build in his mid-20’s. He was last seen wearing a white tan top shirt, blue ripped jeans, red sneakers, white du-rag on his head, long gold chain around his neck and carrying a black backpack.
