Man stabbed in buttocks on Upper West Side street, attacker sought

NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) -- Authorities are searching for an attacker they said stabbed a man in the buttocks on an Upper West Side street Monday morning.

It happened shortly after 8 a.m. on West 96th Street and Broadway, officials said.


The victim was stabbed wound to his buttocks area by a man wearing black sweatpants and blue bubble jacket, according to the NYPD.

The suspect then fled on foot.

The victim was taken to St. Lukes Hospital in stable condition.

There have been no arrests made. An investigation remains ongoing.
