NEW YORK (WCBS 880) – A knife-wielding man stabbed a straphanger in the head at a subway station in Manhattan, police said Friday as they searched for a suspect.
The NYPD released surveillance video of the man they're searching for in the stabbing at the 125th Street station in Harlem last Thursday night.
The stabbing followed a dispute between the 26-year-old victim and his attacker. Police said the two were arguing on a train as it approached the 125th Street station around 11:20 p.m.
The attacker moved to another train car during the dispute, but when the train got to the station, he returned to the car and stabbed the victim in his left temple with a knife, police said.

Surveillance video appears to show a blade in the suspect's hand as he boards a busy train.
The victim was transported to Harlem Hospital, where he was listed in stable condition.
His assailant fled the area on foot, police said.
Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
