NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police released video footage of a suspect they said stabbed a 49-year-old man in the head in a random attack in the Bronx on Sunday.
According to officials, the victim was walking in front of 540 St. Paul's Place around 5 p.m. when he was approached by the suspect then d stabbed in the head.
No words were exchanged before the attack, authorities said.
The suspect fled the scene and was last seen running south on Fulton Avenue.
The victim was taken to a hospital with a severe laceration to the head.
