NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A 47-year-old man is in recovery after being stabbed multiple times during a violent encounter in front of a Chelsea hotel Wednesday morning.
The attack occurred around 11:30 a.m. outside of 438 West 33rd St. According to police, the victim was standing in front of the location when he was stabbed in both the chest and the abdomen.
EMS rushed the man to a nearby hospital where he is expected to survive his injuries.
The motive for the stabbing remains unclear.
Authorities have not yet released a description of the suspect, and no arrests have been made.
The investigation is ongoing.
