NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A man who was stabbed to death just blocks away from his Bronx apartment was reportedly among five people stabbed across the city overnight.
Officers responding to a 911 call in the Norwood section at 8 p.m. found 29-year-old Marvin Duchenne stabbed at the corner of Jerome Avenue and East Gun Hill Road.

Police said Duchenne had been stabbed in the chest. He was taken to Jacobi Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
The stabbing occurred just a few blocks away from Duchenne's apartment, according to police.
Police sources told the New York Post that the victim was arguing with a man at the time he was stabbed. No arrests have been reported.

A 19-year-old man was also stabbed and wounded on Madison Avenue, near the Plaza Hotel, in Midtown Manhattan shortly before midnight, the Post reported.
Another man was then stabbed and wounded at Captain Tilly Park in Jamaica, Queens around 1:15 a.m.
A 46-year-old man was stabbed and critically injured near Church and Reade streets in Tribeca about an hour after the Queens stabbing, according to the report.
About 15 minutes later, a 38-year-old man reportedly stabbed and wounded a 20-year-old during a fight near Grand and Elizabeth streets in Chinatown.
