NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – A woman dropped an envelope containing $10,000 at an Upper West Side Citibank—and a man swooped in and stole it, police said Thursday as they released an image of the suspect.
The 52-year-old woman was inside the bank at 2350 Broadway around 1 p.m. on Feb. 12, when she tried to place the envelope into either her pocket or purse, according to police.
She apparently missed and the envelope fell to the floor, where witnesses saw the man grab it and flee, police said.
