NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Cops are looking for a man who allegedly stole a woman's belongings before dragging her down the stairs of a Manhattan apartment building.
The suspect followed the 24-year-old victim into an East Village apartment building on Second Avenue around 1:15 a.m. on Sunday, police said.
Once inside, the man grabbed the woman's phone, credit card and driver's license out from her hand, police said. He then allegedly dragged the victim down stairs within the building before fleeing the scene.
Police on Tuesday released surveillance footage showing the suspect wearing a black sweatshirt and sweatpants.
