VIDEO: Man who used ladder to deface Greek Orthodox church in Brooklyn sought

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The NYPD’s Hate Crime Task Force is investigating a man accused of defacing a Greek Orthodox Church in Brooklyn in July.

The incident happened at approximately 4 a.m. on Sunday, July 17, when the suspect used a ladder to scale the facade of the Three Hierarchs Greek Orthodox Church located at 1724 Avenue P in Midwood.

The suspect then defaced the exterior of the building and a banner with black paint, officials said.

There were no injuries reported as a result of this incident.
