NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) – The NYPD released images Wednesday of a man suspected of stabbing a Bronx bus rider in the head with a screwdriver because the victim was “air drumming” in his seat.

Monday afternoon’s attack in the Fordham section sent the 60-year-old victim to Saint Barnabas Hospital, where he was in stable condition.

According to police, the victim was riding a Bx22 bus around 2:10 p.m. at East Fordham Road and Marion Avenue at the time of the attack.

He was air drumming—or playing imaginary drums with his hands—on the bus, which caught the ire of another rider.

Their argument led to a physical fight, during which the suspect whipped out a screwdriver and stabbed the victim in the head, according to police.
