NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — The NYPD are investigating after a man and a woman were shot overnight on an outdoor basketball court in Brooklyn, authorities confirmed.
It happened just after 11:30 p.m. at a basketball court located at 3663 Nostrand Ave. in the Sheepshead Bay Houses, officials said.
According to police, a 33-year-old man was shot once in each leg and a 37-year woman was shot once in the leg.
Both victims transported themselves to Coney Island Hospital where they are listed in stable condition.
Police have not released a description of the gunman and the circumstances leading up to the shooting remain unknown.
