NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The Manhattan district attorney has reportedly convened a new long-term grand jury in order to hear evidence about the Trump Organization, and possibly vote on criminal charges.

The new grand jury, convened last week, is set to meet three days a week for multiple months, according to a new Washington Post report.
Due to a logjam of the trials in criminal court buildings, the jury was set to meet Thursday in Manhattan’s Surrogate’s Court, according to the report.
A source told the Washington Post that the grand jury is going to look at how the organization valued its assets. The jury's seating does not necessarily mean charges will be handed down.
The first grand jury, which convened earlier this year, doled out felony indictments against two Trump companies and chief financial officer Allen Weisselberg. That jury alleged that Weisselberg and other execs hid some compensation from the IRS in order to evade taxes.
The grand jury seating comes just after Alvin Bragg was elected to succeed current Manhattan DA Cy Vance Jr. Bragg will Manhattan's first Black DA.
New York Attorney General Letitia James also expanded her investigation into the Trump Organization earlier this year, conducting it in a "criminal capacity” at this point, she said.
Both Vance and James previously said that their investigations are examining allegations that the organization manipulated the value of its assets in order to get favorable loan rates or lower taxes, according to the Post.
Trump has contended that the DA’s past investigations were a “witch hunt.”
