NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) – A 57-year-old DJ was killed over the weekend when her scooter collided with a Mack truck near her Upper West Side home off Central Park, police said.

Anastasia Ledwith, known as DJ Stacey, was riding near West 76th Street and Central Park West—just a block from her home on West 75th Street—around 2:40 a.m. Saturday when her scooter collided with the truck.

Police believe Ledwith was traveling eastbound on West 76th Street when she hit the side of the truck while passing it.

She fell under the truck's tires and suffered injuries that led to her death at the scene, police said.

A 50-year-old man driving the truck remained at the scene and has not been charged as the NYPD's investigation continues.

Ledwith's wife, Valerie Perez, told the Daily News that she worked by day selling wine and by night as a DJ, which was a longtime passion of hers. Perez said she was likely traveling between gigs at the time of the crash.

"She does it here in the city, and she's DJed in Cherry Grove on Fire Island for over 20 years," Perez told the outlet. "She's originally from Long Island. She's got a very big Long Island following."
