NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) – Central Park may be on day 694 without a measurable inch of snow, but the spirit of winter is on display at an immersive art experience in SoHO.
INTER_, an immersive space, invites visitors to “escape on an enchanting journey of self-exploration” through the company’s INTERverse.

Different installations are developed at the permanent INTER_ location, and the current wINTERverse theme provides New Yorkers and tourists alike the ability to “embrace the magic of winter in an exciting new way.”
When asked what makes the winter attraction different, INTER_ Managing Director Zach Blutner said that there have been a variety of exciting updates, from giving existing immersive environments a wintery transformation to the addition of fresh pieces.
“We have developed brand-new art pieces that celebrate the fun and magic of winter. From our Immersion Dome Show to the Influence Portals – every moment of the journey has been enhanced to provide a true escape from the city and allow guests to step into this unique wonderland,” Blutner said.

The INTER_ staff works collaboratively to construct its special exhibits. A creative director helps the team flesh out the installation’s story and vision, which provides direction for the team of artists and engineers that builds the functional digital work.
The company also collaborates with local New York City artists, and takes pride in its place in the SoHo art community.
Due to its popularity, INTER_ is offering the wINTERverse activation until Feb. 11.
“The wINTERverse is meant to bring us all together and reflect on how wonderful and light the world is at this time of year,” Blutner said.
