
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — The NYPD launched an investigation after a man's body was found with a head injury inside a supportive housing building in Brooklyn on Tuesday afternoon.
At approximately 3:44 p.m., police responded to a 911 call for a wellness check inside of 160 Schermerhorn St. in Boerum Hill.
Upon arrival, officers observed a 58-year-old man, unconscious and unresponsive with trauma to the head, lying on the floor inside of an apartment, police said.
EMS responded and pronounced the man dead at the scene.
No arrests have been made and the investigation remains ongoing.
