NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A violent armed robbery at a Brooklyn bodega by a crew of men dressed in NYPD gear on Sunday was caught on video.

At approximately 8:30 a.m., four men wearing NYPD gear stormed into Tajuken Deli Grocery located at 114 Marcus Garvey Blvd. in Bedford-Stuyvesant, flashing guns and threatening employees and customers.

One worker was zip-tied and can be seen on video being dragged across the floor by the attackers. He was then forced to lie face down along with three other victims as the suspects stole lottery tickets and cash.

The attacks occurred as bodega owners and employees call for the city to install "panic buttons" to help accelerate police response time during emergencies.

United Bodegas of America is offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of the suspects.

"If we had panic buttons, these fake cops would be behind bars today. Our city’s weak bail reforms have turned bodegas into hunting grounds for violent criminals. Enough is enough," UBA spokesman Fernando Mateo said in a statement.

"We demand immediate action to protect the backbone of our neighborhood Bodegas. We need Governor Hochul to deliver her promised 5 million dollars, to install Panic Buttons in Bodegas that are in high crime areas," Mateo added.
