NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police released surveillance connection on Monday with a carjacking robbery that occurred near the World Trade Center last month.
It on Sunday, at approximately 3:40 p.m. on February 23, when a 33-year-old woman was sitting inside of a BMW X5 at West Street and Barclay Street in Tribeca, the NYPD said.
According to officials, two men approached and forcibly removed the woman from the vehicle before fleeing in it.
There were no injuries reported and the vehicle was later recovered, authorities said.
