NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — The NYPD released surveillance footage Thursday of two men wanted in separate attacks inside Brooklyn subway stations.
At approximately 2:15 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 13, a 36-year-old man victim was aboard a southbound S train at the Euclid Avenue subway station in East New York when he became involved in a verbal dispute with one of the suspects.
During the altercation, the suspect displayed a box cutter, according to police.
The dispute continued onto the subway platform, where the suspect struck the victim with an umbrella, cops said.
The suspect then boarded the train and fled the scene.
In the second assault from Sunday, Nov. 9, a 35-year-old man was aboard a northbound 4 train approaching the Atlantic Avenue subway station in Downtown Brooklyn at 10:37 p.m. when he was approached by the suspect.
The verbal dispute began then escalated into a physical altercation as both men exited the train.
The victim was then stabbed in the back with an unknown sharp object, officials said.
EMS transported the victim to New York-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital, where he was listed in stable condition.
The suspect re-boarded the northbound 4 train and fled, detraining later at the Fulton Street subway station.
