NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A mother was killed and her 15-year-old son was injured during a stabbing in Brooklyn over the weekend, authorities said.
At about 9:30 p.m. on Sunday, officers responded for reports of a woman stabbed at East 81st Street in Canarsie.
According to police, 47-year-old Antoinette Stewart-Gordon was stabbed in the neck and abdomen. Her son was slashed in the hand.
She was taken to Brookdale University Hospital Medical Center where she was pronounced dead, according to her authorities.
There have been no arrests made.
Officials are investigating the incident and believe it was domestic in nature.
